Welcome to Intercessory Prayer Ministry International

Welcome to Intercessory Prayer Ministry International (IPMI) a Christian non-denominational ministry that has been in operation in New York City since 1996. The organization offers a number of programs centered around prayer and fasting, all aimed at encouraging individuals and churches to pray more effectively for revival in support of world evangelization and the spiritual transformation of nations. The programs include such special events as the Annual Prayer Breakfast, the Annual Prayer Summit and the Annual Twenty-one Days of Prayer and Fasting that IPMI has hosted annually for over ten years. These programs have gained both local and international support among individuals, groups and churches of various denominations. One important aspect of IPMI's ministry is the support it offers to pastors and churches seeking to bring spiritual transformation to their communities through prayer. This has led IPMI to develop such programs as the Annual Schools of Prayer and the Annual Pastors Breakfast that are attracting the support of pastors and churches of various denominations in the tri-state. Since 2004, IPMI has also teamed up with pastors in the Jamaica Diaspora to sponsor a special project called the Jamaica Diaspora Day of Prayer and Fasting, which seeks to mobilize members of the Christian community from the Jamaica Diaspora in North America, Canada and the United Kingdom to observe an annual day of prayer and fasting for spiritual renewal and transformation in the nation of Jamaica. The project has also helped to raise much needed funds, annually, to support the work of Christian Charities in Jamaica's inner cities. Other programs include a monthly interdenominational prayer meeting, which IPMI hosts on fourth Saturdays and the Global Teleconference Prayer Ministry, which it generally hosts on first Thursdays. This event allows people from around the world to unite in intercessory prayer through the innovative and cost-effective use of teleconferencing technology. IPMI has also established the Intercessory Prayer Ministry International Training Institute to offer additional training opportunities to members of the Christian community locally and internationally.
